WHY TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Mentoring on the surface sounds and looks easy, don’t be fooled. It takes more than passion, although it is great to have, to be successful in this industry. I have spent 32 years living and breathing mentoring and I am still learning. Mentoring is a very rewarding field, if you have patience and remain for the long haul. If you are trying to get rich, I suggest you change fields. Mentoring is not the end all be all fix to all the challenges our young people are facing today, but it can make a difference. Mentoring done right can be extraordinary, done wrong, can do more harm than good. First rule in mentoring, do no harm.
